Over the weekend we attended JUMPSTART, which is training event at St. Cloud State. There were many classes including topics like fundraising, game strategy, electrical, social media, safety and many more. a couple of our mentors taught classes. David Dale, who is out web mentor, taught Websites and Social Media. while out coach Corey Applegate and his son Austin taught the class on the FRC Robot Builder software, explaining how to use it for command-based robot programming. We also showed off our pit in the Pit Showcase and showed off some of our CAD in the Team Showcases over lunch. We had a great time and are looking forward to next year.

Monday the team started to assemble a "rocker bogie", a design for robots dealing with difficult terrain. As of right now, a few teammates are working on a wooden prototype installing gearboxes. Then a few others are sketching out practice manipulators. And the last thing is the programming team is working on the camera and the vision tracking systems to improve them.

Over the next week we will be pretty busy with some important events.

This Sunday, we will be hosting an American Heart Association CPR training. The event will take place on December 10th at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College in their customized training center (CTech Building). We have some first-come first-serve openings to teams within our hub.

On Thursday the 7th we will be attending the Talahi STEM Night from 4 to 6. We cannot wait to show off our robotic skills and to inspire future engineers.
