The first week of Summer Break

We hope that everyone is enjoying the first week of summer break, at least for St. Cloud School District. This week we finished preparing the float for our first parade. We also have both the new robot “flagbot” and our candy distributing robot “Candybot” up and running.

We will be in the Waite Park parade on June 13 with the library, if you come, be looking for us! We will also be in the Granite City Days parade, June 29, and the Jo Town Rocks parade on the 4th of July. Alumni and their families are always welcome to come and walk the parade route with us.

This week we will also be having our “end of the year” party on Friday. Though the team never really stops, this is our time to say goodby to the graduating senior(s) and reminisce about the past season. This year our only senior is Austin Applegate. Austin will be attending U of M in the cities in the fall, majoring in Pre-Med. Good Luck Austin, we wish you well and will miss your killer instinct behind the controls of the robot!
